REACTIVATE THE YOUTH
FREDERICK DOUGLASS TODD SR. MIDDLE SCHOOL
CULTURE CLUB
MISSION
Reactivate Youth connects students to creative careers, civic leadership, and green design—right on their campuses. From murals to music production, journalism to outdoor learning labs, students learn skills, build portfolios, and give back through the Reactivate Dallas festivals.
CULTURE CLUB
-
Culture Club
The after-school engine inside Lincoln and James Madison High Schools. Culture Club powers programs like Let The Beat Build, Cool Schools Extended, and Sight & Sound—so students can explore beats, design outdoor spaces, and craft portfolios that open college and career doors.
-
Cool Schools Extended
In partnership with Texas Trees Foundation, students co-design outdoor learning spaces and see them built on campus—bringing shade, biodiversity, and hands-on science into everyday learning.
-
Let The Beat Build
Music production + business development—aligned with social-emotional learning. Students create, collaborate, and learn the business of music while building confidence and voice.
-
Sight & Sound
From photography to audio/video, students produce work for a professional-grade portfolio they can use for college applications and creative careers.
-
Dallas Free Press
Youth journalism and podcasting that amplifies student voice and community stories.
