Fall Festival
Celebrate the season with a day of community, fresh food, family fun, and neighborhood connection at the Dallas Bethlehem Center. The Fall Festival brings together residents, local farms, nonprofits, and volunteers for a free community celebration focused on healthy living, environmental stewardship, and access to fresh food.

- Free Tree Giveaway: Take home a free tree from Texas Tree Foundation and learn how planting today creates a healthier community tomorrow.
- Fresh Produce Distribution: Free, fresh produce available for families while supplies last.
- Community Farm Market: Explore a vibrant indoor farmers market featuring local growers and community farms, including potential partners such as Restorative Farms, Bonton Farms, and Seeds of Faith.
- Tree Education & Environmental Workshops: Learn practical tips frm Texas Tree Foundation for planting, caring for trees, and growing healthier neighborhoods.

A New Fall Tradition Rooted in Healthy Communities
This year's festival expands beyond a traditional community event by creating a farm-focused marketplace that celebrates local agriculture, healthy food access, and community wellness. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet local growers, discover fresh foods, connect with community partners, and experience how food, education, and neighborhood investment come together to strengthen South Dallas.
Free Tree Giveaway for South Dallas Residents
Help us grow a greener South Dallas—one tree at a time.
The Texas Trees Foundation and The Walls Project are giving away up to 600 free trees to eligible South Dallas households. Tree pickup will take place at Fall Fest in November, the best time of year to plant trees in Texas so they can establish strong roots before the summer heat returns.
Each eligible household may receive up to three (3) free trees. Trees will be provided in 15-gallon containers, and you'll have the opportunity to choose the tree species that best fits your yard during pickup.
What's Included
In addition to your free tree, you'll receive:
- A brand-new watering hose
- Mulch
- A tree care package with planting tips and educational resources
Who's Eligible?
To qualify, you must live within the South Dallas Greening Initiative Project Area.
